Mariano & Skirtboarders painting?
Hier on a reçu un nouveau commentaire sur le profil de Julie…
« Bonjour, mon nom est Mariano et j’habite un pays lointain qui s’appelle l’Argentine. Je fais du skate depuis aussi loin que je me rappelle et je peints depuis encore plus longtemps. Il y a peu de temps, j’ai commencé une série de peintures qui représentent des filles en skate. J’en ai peinte une de Julie Lévesque et j’aimerais connaitre son opinion. »
Je suis allé faire un tour sur son site puis j’ai immédiatement contacté Mariano. Il m’a envoyé une image de la peinture représentant Julie et m’a dit qu’il travaillait quotidiennement sur sa nouvelle série, dont une d’Annie Guglia. Wow! Nous sommes vraiment honorées de savoir qu’un artiste talentueux comme toi puisse nous choisir comme modèle Mariano!

Recently I started a series of painting depicting female skateboarders. I’ve done a picture of Julie Lévesque, and I would like to know her opinion about it.«
I checked his website and contacted Mariano right away! He sent me an image of Julie’s painting and told me he was working daily on this new series, including one of Annie Guglia. Wow! We are honoured to see that a talented artist as you could have choosed us as models Mariano!

Really? Anne look i know…well actually I don´t know how awkward it would be to skate with a skirt, but as I was telling Mathilde, you could use pants underneath. Im just interested to catch the movement of the skirt while ollieing, sliding, grinding, etc. Im kind off obsesed with catchin movement in a painting, so when the winter is gone…pretty please with sugar on top?

But I just dont want to skate in skirt for a magazine, a journal or a website. But for a painting its not the same, its cool!

Im holding your painting till I get this footage. I know that an outdoor painting would be better, wut with the right lighting it could be make indoors…i just cant wait till your summer. 
Im trying to do a « skirtboarder » proyect in my home city Buenos Aires, hopefully the will support it with money.
